Poha is made from flattened rice. It is a very nutritious snack which can be eaten at breakfast or a mid day snack.
There are many benefits of poha being rich in fibre and easily digestable. It is very low in calories so those who are watching their weight can rely on poha for a healthy and delicious snack.

Ingredients :
- Thick poha (3 cups)
- 3 onions (finely chopped)
- 3 tomatoes (finely chopped)
- 1 capsicum (finely chopped)
- Peas (½ cup)
- Garlic (2 tsp finely chopped) / ginger garlic paste (optional)
- Cumin seeds (jeera) (1tsp) (optional)
- Coriander leaves (dhaniya) (¼ cup finely chopped) (optional)
- 2-3 green chillies (cut in small pieces)
- Lemon juice (4 tsp) (optional)
- Turmeric powder (1tsp)
- Garam masala (2tsp)
- Kitchen king masala (1tsp) (optional)
- Chilli sauce (2 tsp) (optional)
- Oil/olive oil
Method :
Step1 :
Take a wok/kadhai add 4 tsp of oil in it, when the oil gets heat up add cumin seeds(jeera), chopped garlic and green chillies in it.

When the garlic starts turning golden brown add peas in it. Stir occasionally for 2 mins.

After 2 mins add onion and capsicum in it and stir occasionally until onion turns golden brown.

When the onion is done add tomatoes in it with turmeric powder, stir occasionally for 2 mins.

After that add coriander leaves, chilli sauce, garam masala, kitchen king masala and salt to taste. Mix them properly.

Now take poha in a strainer and run it through water, then add poha to the mixture and mix properly for 2 mins. Add lemon juice in it and mix properly.

The delicious poha is ready to serve just add some coriander leaves on top of it.

Tips:
* if you are using ginger garlic paste then add it with the tomatoes not before that.
* you can also eat it with the namkeen/bujhia but only if you are not on a diet. 😉
