Below i am sharing the recipe of rice pulao :

Ingredients :
- Brown Rice/White Rice (1 cup)
- Onion (2 finely chopped)
- Peas (½ cup)
- Carrot (1 finely chopped)
- Capsicum (1 finely chopped)
- Cauliflower (cut into pieces) (¼ cup) (optional)
- Paneer/cottage cheese (chopped/grated ¼ cup) (optional)
- Soya chunks ( soaked in water ¼ - ½ cup) (optional)
- Garlic (finely chopped/grated) (2tsp)
- Ginger garlic paste (1 tsp) (optional)
- Jeera/cumin seeds (2-3 tsp)
- Green chilles (3-4 finely chopped)
- Coriander leaves (¼ cup finely chopped)
- Lemon juice (3 tsp) (optional)
- Garam masala (3 tsp)
Method:
Step1:
Take 2½ cups of water in a wok/kadhai for every 1 cup rice. Add brown rice (i prefer dawat brown rice) in it after 2 mins with 1 tsp salt and oil.
(For white rice add 2 cups water and add rice to it only when water comes to boil, rest all steps are same.)

Step2:
Bring the brown rice to boil then simmer the gas and cover it with the lid for 15-20 mins. When it is cooked strain the excess water and keep it aside.
(For white rice 10 mins will be sufficient just check occasionally if it's made.)

Step3:
Now take a kadhai(wok) add 6tsp oil in it (preferably olive oil) , when oil becomes hot add jeera, green chillies and garlic in it.

When the garlic turns golden add peas in it, stir for 2 mins then add Soya chunks in it after draining all the water from it. (press the soya chunks firmly with your hand so that whatever water they have absorbed it comes out.)

Stir occasionally then after 3 mins add onion,cauliflower and carrot in it. After 3 mins add capsicum and stir occasionally until onion turns golden brown.

After this add paneer in the mixture and stir it for 2 mins.

Add garam masala and salt to your taste (remember that 1tsp salt is already added in the rice.)

Then add brown rice/white rice in the mixture and mix properly.

Add lemon juice and coriander leaves in it then stir for 2 more mins.

Yummy rice pulao is ready to be served. (you can serve it with raita to enhance the taste.)
